Mohammad El-rifai MD
Dr. Mohammed El-rifai is a board-certified endocrinologist and an internal medicine specialist. Prior to joining Tampa General Medical Group, he treated patients with endocrine conditions and disorders at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Dr. El-rifai received his medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan, where interned at Prince Hamzah Hospital and then served as a general practitioner with the National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics. Dr. El-rifai went on to complete his internal medicine residency with New York Medical College at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, N.J. He completed his endocrinology fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.
Dr. El-rifai is credited with several publications in areas of his expertise. He is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including Endocrine Society and American Medical Association.
Dr. El-rifai currently sees patients 18 years and older.
