Adrian Kohut MD

Dr. Adrian Kohut is a board-certified OB-GYN with sub-specialty training in Gynecologic Oncology. During medical school, Dr. Kohut developed a strong interest in Gynecologic Oncology and thus went on to complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2019, followed by an Advanced Pelvic Surgery fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in 2020 and a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2023. Dr. Kohut is passionate about advancing the care of women diagnosed with gynecologic malignancies, as well as those with complex benign and pre-malignant gynecologic conditions. His clinical research interests include using predictive modeling for applications in surgical quality improvement and precision medicine and advancing the role of intraperitoneal drug delivery in peritoneal surface malignancies. Dr. Kohut’s translational research interests include targeting the JAK/STAT signaling pathway to overcome PARP inhibitor resistance and understanding the role of aberrant protein phosphatase activity in high-grade uterine cancer.
