Merlyn Thomas ARNP

Merlyn Thomas is a family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in nursing. With strong leadership/management skills and hands-on clinical expertise, she excels in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients. Thomas has worked as a family nurse practitioner for at least five years with Tampa General and Palm River Medical Center. Her self-directed approach and resourcefulness also has been utilized as a longtime registered nurse in Tampa General Hospital’s emergency room, and transplant, telemetry and medical surgical floors.
Thomas received her Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Florida. Her nursing career started in India, where she earned a master’s degree in hospital administration from Mahatma Gandhi University after completing a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Mangalore. She is a member of the Trained Nurses Association of India and the Indian Nurses Association of Central Florida.
