Amanda Hoelscher APRN

Amanda Hoelscher is a certified nurse practitioner with Tampa General Hospital. She has more than 13 years of nursing experience, including more than seven years of experience in an advanced practice registered nurse/nurse practitioner role. Prior to joining Tampa General, Hoelscher worked as a nurse practitioner in general medical oncology at Cancer Center of South Florida in Palm Beach Gardens after serving at numerous medical centers and clinics in Texas, mainly in the oncology field. She began her medical career as a registered nurse at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where she was born and raised.

Hoelscher received both her undergraduate and graduate training at the University of South Florida, studying adult gerontology and oncology nursing. She earned a dual master’s degree in 2013 and graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average. Hoelscher’s professional interests include oncology research and integrative medicine. She has memberships with the Oncology Nursing Society, the Advanced Provider Society for Hematology and Oncology, and the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners.
