Carlene K Chambers MSN, APRN, CCRN, RN

Carlene K. Chambers is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the TGH Heart & Vascular Institute who has treated patients in the Tampa Bay area since 2014. She returned to Tampa General, where she was a nurse practitioner student in the Advanced Lung Disease & Lung Transplant Center in 2021.

Prior to her current role with Tampa General, Chambers served as a registered nurse for numerous health care providers in the hospital and home health settings. Her nursing experience includes working in the cardiac care/intensive care unit, the cardiovascular intensive care unit, the urology/renal/medical-surgical and telemetry unit, and on the rapid response team.

Chambers completed the Master of Science in Nursing/Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of South Florida, where she also received bachelor’s degrees in both nursing and biology. She has been awarded for her excellence in nursing care and has served in numerous leadership roles throughout her career.
