Wahida Rahaman-Dwarika APRN

Wahida Rahaman-Dwarika is a certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience and proven strengths in acute patient care, staff development and patient advocacy. Dedicated and patient-focused, she has exceptional ability to deliver positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously building productive relationships.

Wahida has dedicated her career to treating patients in the Tampa Bay area community as a family nurse practitioner and in numerous nursing roles with Tampa General Hospital. She has been recognized for providing worldclass care with the Nurse of the Year Award in 2003 and the James Cullison Award for Nursing Compassion in 2005.

Graduating cum laude, Wahida earned her Master of Science in nursing, with a family nurse practitioner specialty, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing, both from Chamberlain University in Chicago. She is affiliated with the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and her clinical interests include evidence-based research and quality improvement projects. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, along with gardening and other outdoor activities.
