Gloria “Michelle” Guess is a board-certified oncology nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with summa cum laude honors from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando. Michelle continued her education at the University of South Florida, where she was a graduate teaching assistant and received a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in oncology. She was the recipient of the Roberta Scofield Memorial Award and the Minerva W. Rhinehart Scholarship in nursing at USF. Since 2011, Michelle has been a certified oncology APRN who has worked in hospice, hematology-oncology and gynecologic oncology settings, mostly in Tampa with numerous health care providers, including Moffitt Cancer Center. She began her professional career serving as a registered nurse, primarily in critical care and as a charge nurse in dialysis. Proficient in performing bone marrow biopsies since 2017, Michelle enjoys using a friendly, punctual and enthusiastic approach to providing high-quality care to patients and families.
