Daniel Higgins MD

Dr. Daniel Higgins is a board-certified general surgeon with Tampa General Hospital General Surgeons of the Palm Beaches. As a provider of world-class care for patients in Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast, Dr. Higgins’ work in South Florida spans nearly 40 years. His areas of clinical interests include breast, bowel, hernia and robotic surgery as well as dialysis access, vein treatment and cutaneous oncology. Dr. Higgins is currently affiliated with Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach and JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., and performs surgeries at both hospitals. Dr. Higgins received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He then served as a surgical intern, resident and chief resident at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Higgins is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Florida Medical Association and the Palm Beach County Medical Society. Over the years, he has been contributed to medical literature with several articles, including the President’s Report for the Journal of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and several other scientific publications.
